The Tenex procedure, also known as percutaneous tenotomy, is a minimally invasive treatment for chronic tendon pain in the shoulder or elbow, such as rotator cuff tendinopathy or lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). During the procedure, a specialized ultrasonic device is used to break down and remove damaged tissue within the tendon, promoting healing and pain relief.
